Specialist follow-on service
Bounded Response, Handoff & Follow-Up
Turns routing into reliable response after a concern reaches the route: what happens next, who accepts the handoff, what is recorded, who follows up and when the matter is closed or monitored.

Evidence-led use
When this is used
This is a specialist follow-on service. It is normally recommended where Discovery shows validated evidence that this specific gap exists. Use this when signposting or referral happens without owned follow-up, concerns pass between functions without confirmed acceptance, or EAP, OH, HR or H&S routes exist but handoff and residual-risk review are weak.
What it clarifies
What the service helps clarify or design
- What a bounded manager response looks like.
- How a concern is handed over and accepted.
- Who owns follow-up after signposting or referral.
- When closure is defined, recorded or reviewed.
Typical outputs
What it can produce
Outputs depend on the evidence, selected scope and client decisions. Not every client receives every output.
- Response pathway inventory and current-state response map.
- Bounded manager response model and conversation boundary guide.
- Handoff standards and handoff acceptance log.
- Follow-up ownership matrix and signposting discipline.
- EAP/OH/HR/H&S handoff rules, closure criteria, residual-risk review and 90-day response plan.
Boundary
What this service does not do
Does not turn managers into counsellors or therapists. Does not collect unnecessary personal health information. Does not treat signposting as closure.
Discovery link
How it links to Discovery
Discovery identifies what is happening and provides the evidence base. The Follow-On Service Handoff controls what moves forward, confirms scope and boundaries, and keeps the service traceable to validated findings.
